Wild West Pioneers Tools Hub

Controls, PC specs, and the building roster — reference pages that sit beside the guides.

Tools Hub

This hub is the reference shelf for Wild West Pioneers, not another walkthrough. EmpireCraft Studios and Toplitz Productions still have Early Access scheduled for 25 September 2026 on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The game is Windows, single-player. A Steam demo was listed in February 2026. Use these pages when you need a key, a spec number, or a building name without re-reading a full guide.

Three child pages live here. Camera and overlay controls covers Q/E rotation, zoom, the left-side overlays, the bottom bar, skip night, and placement colors. System requirements copies the Steam app 3222640 minimum and recommended rows, including the 14 GB install and the unknown Steam Deck status. The building list is the confirmed roster without S/A/B/C grades. For ranks, switch to the buildings hub.

Who these pages are for

Open controls if the camera feels stuck, if tents keep landing on dry ground, or if an expedition never starts. The wildlife and water overlays are not cosmetic filters; they are how hunter cabins and tents get legal plots. Open system requirements before you install the listed demo or plan a machine for September. Open the building list when a guide names a plot and you want every confirmed neighbor in one scroll.

None of these pages replace the getting started hour or the first settlement site pick. They sit under the hammer icon so you can tab back without hunting a paragraph inside a walkthrough.

Controls in one paragraph

Rotate with Q and E, zoom with the scroll wheel, and read the HUD as three bands: pause and day on the top left, resources top center, mood and population top right (Dust Creek in many screenshots). Left-side overlays swap default view, water, and wildlife. The bottom bar holds the world map, build hammer, decoration/wishes, and help. Placement ghosts color blue when legal, yellow when they fight a resource, red when invalid. You can move a building from its panel instead of deleting it. Scout flow is select expedition, click location, press Explore. Skip night only when shops are actually stocked. The long version is the controls page, including a mid-article demo video of the camera and overlays.

Specs in one paragraph

Minimum is Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-4570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X, 12 GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 590 8GB, DirectX 11, 14 GB storage, targeting 30 fps Low at 1080p. Recommended is Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB, DirectX 12, 14 GB storage, targeting 60 fps Medium-High at 1080p. Steam Deck is listed as unknown. Those numbers are not guesses; they are on system requirements. This wiki will not invent post-launch patch versions that do not exist yet.

Building list versus the tier lists

The roster page names Town Hall, warehouse, logger’s cabin, hunter’s cabin, tents and houses, well, food shop, sawmill, saloon, scout cabin, settler base, water tank, worker camp, corn ranch, distillery, butcher, church, decorations, bridges, roads, transport hubs, and later railroad prep. It does not grade them. Grades live on housing, food, and industry. If a factory is missing from both the roster and the ranks, it is missing on purpose.

Pair this hub with guides and updates

New players should still start on the guides hub. Production math is production chains. Happiness is settlers. Map travel is expeditions. The linear listed-demo path is the demo walkthrough. Dates and scope sit on updates, with Early Access notes and the playtest window as the two child pages that change fastest. Store and social bookmarks live on links.

Use this tools hub as the index card you leave pinned: keys on the left page, specs in the middle, names on the right. When Early Access lands on 25 September 2026, the spec sheet and the roster will move first; the guides will follow once new plots are actually placeable. Until then, do not treat a loading-screen silhouette as a building, and do not treat a YouTuber’s overlay mod as a default keybind.

If you only open one child page before a session, open controls for the overlays, then system requirements if the machine is new to the demo, then the building list when the build hammer shows names you do not recognize. That is the whole point of a tools hub: short answers that stay out of the walkthrough’s way, updated when Steam’s spec block or the confirmed roster changes, not when a rumor mill adds a steel mill.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for settlers heading west.

Where are the keybinds?

On the controls page: Q/E to rotate, scroll to zoom, left overlays for water and wildlife, bottom bar for build and map.

What PC do I need?

The system requirements page lists the Steam minimum and recommended rows for app 3222640, including 14 GB storage.

Is there a full building roster?

Yes. The building list names confirmed plots. Ranks are on the buildings hub, not here.

Does this hub replace the beginner guide?

No. Start with getting started for the first hour. Tools are reference, not a campaign path.

Will Steam Deck specs appear here?

When Valve or the studio publishes them. Right now the system requirements page correctly lists Steam Deck as unknown.
